What to Expect:
Our promise is to provide you a clean and well maintained home.
Please note that clean may not mean “new” and maintained may not mean “without signs of salt life.”
However, we do have high expectations of cleanliness and keeping everything in working order.
Even though the salt air is unforgiving, and rust is a constant battle, we provide routine maintenance, pest control, HVAC maintenance and frequent inspections.
We routinely upgrade and update furnishings throughout the year.
Because we take great pride in our homes, we expect our guests to respect our property during their stay.
What is included in my stay?
- A clean home with nearly every kitchen amenity at your disposal
- An updated and well maintained home for an exceptional vacation experience
- One wrapped roll of toilet paper supplied in each bathroom
- One wrapped roll of paper towels supplied in kitchen
- Kitchen trash bags
- Wrapped kitchen sponge
- Dish soap, Dishwasher soap, Hand soap, Laundry soap, starter bath soap. (Personal toiletries are not supplied)
- Sheets with beds made Towels for 6 at Saltwater Sunrise and towels for 8 at Salt on the Rim. Pool/Beach towels are not supplied.
- Outdoor Grill
- “Salt on the Rim” includes a beach cart, beach chairs, corn hole boards, sand and pool toys and bikes as available.
Education about these Homes
- These are Vintage Beach Homes
- Although the amenities continue to be updated, the homes maintain Vintage Charm.
- Floors will be uneven
- Salt Air is brutal and rust is commonplace
- Anything wood will dry out , crack and splinter at any given time
- The bedrooms are pretty spacious but the shower stalls are not.
- The houses are modest, clean and well maintained.
- Kitty Hawk is an older town with a mix of new and old. It is very well loved by locals and visitors.

Your Responsibilities
- Select the week of your stay.
- “Saltwater Sunrise” is a Saturday to Saturday week.
- “Salt on the Rim” is a Friday to Friday weekly during the summer.
- Contact us for partial stay availability. Summer months are week rentals only.
- Read, Sign and return the Vacation Rental Agreement within 24 hours
- Purchase Trip Insurance (strongly recommended)
- Pay (must receive deposit at time of booking to secure your week)
